My journey into Tech & a bit about me

Navigating your way around the tech world can be difficult. I will use this opportunity to talk a little bit about my journey and how it's been so far.I also share a bit about Josephine as a person 😎.

My journey

My journey into the world of tech began during my high school days when I joined a summer camp called ELITE in Ghana. It was a transformative experience that ignited my passion for technology like never before. After high school, I made the bold decision to pursue further education in the IT field, leading me to Finland. Since late 2020, I've been deeply engaged in software engineering, initially focusing on frontend development before diving into backend technologies.

Despite challenges, I persevered and now find myself obsessed with mastering algorithms and data structures, even designing my own for fun! 😅 Alongside this, I'm continuously enhancing my skills in mobile and web development.Additionally, I'm excited to announce that I'm currently working on my first mobile app and an online course, so stay tuned for updates!💃🏾

My story

I consider myself to be a very versatile individual. Exploring new things and new places is something that truly excites me. Apart from coding, cooking is my other passion. Whenever I feel super stressed, I find solace in watching random cuisine ideas on YouTube. Cooking is therapeutic for me and helps alleviate most of my stress. (Maybe because I also like food😉)

Another love of mine is traveling. I've been fortunate to visit over 10 countries so far, and my mission is to step foot in every country before I depart from this planet 🌎. It's a personal goal of mine to travel to at least two new countries every year until I've explored every corner of the globe. (Who knows, I might start sharing here that at some point🤷🏾‍♀️)

      • Implemented a Full stack feature to automate some processes involved in creating a campaign with Unity ads.
      • Migrated enzyme test to React testing Library.
      • Added new UI improvements to better User experience with the Unity campaign launch.

      • Design and built RestAPIs with NodeJs, TypeScript and PostgresSQL to support new features.
      • Contributed to frontend development with Typescript, React, Redux and Docker.
      • Set up new service with NodeJs backend with Kubernetes, Docker, and Git configurations.
      • Participate in support by investigating and fixing bugs.
